In a recent Fox News article
came this quote:"While the security of the American people and our critical infrastructure must always be a top priority, implementing the laws that could harm the health of our economy in the name of national security would be a grave mistake," said Bruce Josten, executive vice president for government affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Read that again. No really. Read it carefully.
He was talking about achieving balance but it really sounds like he is more interested in economic development than our country's security. This guy needs some coaching in making public statements. I am a died in the wool, card carrying Republican conservative, and Bush is doing a few things that are making me uneasy since they don't seem to track with conservative ideals (like less government interference in our daily lives, smaller government, more empowerment to the citizens).
