Sometime after about an hour after leaving my sister's house in Utah on Tuesday, I got a call from a guy in Tempe about a job. I'd be designing smalll and embedded devices. Tuesday night, I wrote him an email from my hotel in Kingman, AZ (the Quality Inn in Kingman- for that matter, the one in Sierra Vista, too - leaves much to be desired. I won't stay there again) trying to set up an interview for Thursday. I was a little distracted being that I was tooling along at 70mph when I got his call. I made it home and Thursday morning I gave him a call to try to finalize the interview. Turns out that Thursday was not such a good day since key people would be out. Fine with me. I get to brush up on my electronics a bit more and will be well rested.
The interview is now set for Wednesday afternoon.
I am a bit apprehensive about the move. The typical home price for a four-bedroom is about A QUARTER MILLION DOLLARS!
Egad... I'd need a serious pay raise to afford that.
