Looks like there was a problem with the ability to post comments. My wife fixed it somehow.

My settings were:

Who can reply to your entries? Anybody

Which replies do you want screened by default? All

From the LJ FAQ (Question #134):
A screened comment is only visible to the user who posted the entry, the person who posted the comment, and, if the entry was made in a community, the maintainer of that community. If you are not logged in, you will not to be able to see screened comments.

So I still don't know what happened. The screening default is now set to none and I should see people posting comments now... if anyone does.

But based on the definition of screening, as I read it, I should have been able to see any comments posted. Until now, the only comments I have seen are ones I posted. That means that either noone posted stuff or something is broken.

Anyway. I am no longer screening comments. The function of that option is ambiguous.

If you posted a comment you may need to repost or edit the setting on it.

Why the heck did I set to screened comments in the first place? I always try to default to a high security level. It is easier to add privledge that to take it away.
