A once in a lifetime exhibit will be hosted by the U of A Planetary Science Center in Tucson, AZ.
On January 30, 2010, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM, there will be a public exhibit of every meteorite ever found in Arizona. All 95 of the known falls, all in one room along with any surviving finders who will share their stories. This group includes several people who have been lucky enough to find and name their own meteorites.
This is a very rare chance and most likely will never happen again as many of the rocks are on loan from other museums including the Smithsonian.
The Planetary Science Center is located just east of the Flandreau Planetarium which is on the northeast corner of Cherry and University Blvd. The exhibit hall is on the 3rd floor and there will be guides to help you find your way and free parking.
