But the issue is getting larger: instant coffee.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. regulators warned the public Friday not to consume seven Mr. Brown instant coffee and milk tea products that were made in China because of concerns they may be contaminated with melamine.
The Food and Drug Administration said the products were recalled by King Car Food Industrial Co Ltd "due to possible contamination with melamine." [...]
So beware of any product containing dairy: creamers, coffee, chai, ice cream, and so on.
In fact, it may not be such a bad idea to check all of your food to see if it was made, grown, or produced in China. Even check your frozen shrimp (no, really!). Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of Asia?
Buy local. Buy USA.
