SCO Group, whose CEO tried to kill the Linux operating system, filed for bankruptcy Friday, a month after a court ruled it did not own the copyright to the Unix operating system.
Following the decision, it's stock plummeted 75 percent to under a dollar.
In an interview two weeks ago with Wired News, CEO Darl McBride said the company would leave no legal stone unturned in its quest to continue litigating to win the Linux copyright. A company spokeswoman declined to comment Friday on whether SCO would follow through. [...]
