Security redux

Hiya kids! It is done! I have my public key for you now.

Import this key into your PGP key log and you can encrypt your secret messages to me. I don't really expect any of you to do that because:

1) "Who really gives a shit about security anyway, Robomarkov? I'm not doing anything wrong."
2) "Robomarkov, I have no secrets for you worthy of encrypting."
3) "None of my friends use it so why should I? You are the only one using it. Nerd."
4) "You wear a belt AND suspenders don't you? Paranoid freak!"
5) "It's too hard. I might as well try to program the clock on my VCR! I fear technology."

I'll bet you probably fit into one of the above. Anyway, here it is. Just copy and paste into a text file ending in ".asc". I also put it into my user info for easy reference.

Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux)

Ooh, ooh, I'm number 4!

The second 4.

[embarrassed] Ur, uh... you mean five... right? Yes. THat is right. I don't maketypoes.

You forgot one...

6. I'm just too lazy to bother.

16th-May-2006 07:43 pm (UTC)
I would classify that under #1.

Apathy and laziness are really the same as "who gives a shit". If you did actually care, you'd be acting.
16th-May-2006 07:48 pm (UTC)
Ehh.. debatable. Apathy to me is I just don't care enough to do anything. Lazy is "Yeah, I prolly should but don't want to" or "I will get around to it eventually."
17th-May-2006 09:39 pm (UTC) - YOU have way too much free time
Well, when I want to send you government secrets, or a detailed plan on how to defuse a nuclear bomb, or build a space ship to get away from the Chinese vs United States war, I will use the key. Until then, let them read my silly emails and laugh over their donuts.
(Of course we could develop a cool code, like the spies, you know, hieroglyphs, put it into a jpg and only send jpgs from now on. No WAIT! We'll do that, AND encrypt it. BWA HA HA HA)
